NBA Playoffs

I was surprised to even see the Pacers in the playoffs. I thought they sucked every year. This season is a bit different, I guess. Danny Granger is actually pretty good, but there isn't much talent around him. I don't see them getting past the first round.

Danny Granger doesn't have any talent around him? What?

This team is extraordinary in terms in how solid they are as a defensive force. Not only that, but 12 players are averaging double digits ppg (per-36 minutes). If anyone is the darkhorse coming out of the East, its them.

That would make me pretty happy. If that happens though, they will be comparing LeBron James to Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan even more in the better player argument. People who are for Kobe and Jordan, always use the rings as one of their main arguments, so I'm sure there will be a lot more talks now that LeBron at least has one ring. Regardless, Kobe's five rings and Jordan's six rings are better than LeBron's one ring, but ESPN is still always trying to compare LeBron to them.

Rings are a team accomplishment. You can't analyze talent by rings. Lebron has been better than Kobe for several years now, its just a matter how polished their careers will be at the end. If Lebron was playing with the early 00' Lakers, he would have a couple rings by now. Instead he had to play with Cleveland... We all know how good they are.

Oklahoma City Thunder will be able to handle the Mavericks, no problem.

I'm more interested in what is going to happen in the Eastern Conference, especially now that Derrick Rose has torn his ACL. It's wide open.
The Miami Heat have a better chance to get back to the finals, but the Bulls were pretty good without Derrick Rose during the regular season.

Bulls are still good without Rose, but it's going to be really tough if they make it to the East Finals and play Miami.

My predictions: East: Heat over Bulls. West: Thunder over Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are my darkhorse this year. I also could see Indiana beating the Heat in the second round possibly.

Another, is the Celtics who seem to have a chip on their shoulder to prove they can still contend for a title. Lastly, the Nuggets could have a nice run I'm feeling and put up a fight in the second round.

Mavs to sweep Lakers, and just start rolling! BE WORRIED WESTERN CONFERENCE!!!

Also, how about Chris Rose?

Yeah, I think the Bulls could kind of be considered a darkhorse now that Rose is out.

He was out a lot this season, but the Bulls still managed to win most of their games. I think they'll make it at least into the next round.

They're done next round.

Yeah the Heat are going to have no trouble advancing to the NBA Finals this year. The only teams that could still beat them are Boston and Chicago (Only because they have homecourt, and have already beaten them once without Rose, but I doubt it would actually happen)

The 76ers are handling the Rose-less Bulls pretty easily right now, and the Celtics are about to beat the Hawks to even the series 1-1.

Please not the Heat! I'm begging for Boston, Chicago, or whoever else to beat them in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Spurs destroyed the Jazz last night, 114-83, and the Pacers also handled their opponent easily, beating the Magic, 97-74.

The Grizzlies evened their series with the Clippers, winning 105-98 last night.

There is no way Boston or Chicago is beating them. One is too old and the other probably won't even reach the second round.
