This thread is all about the NBA lockout. Basically, you can post news regarding the NBA lockout, post how many days the lockout has been going, etc. This thread will probably be going awhile, as we will not be having a 2011-12 NBA season most likely. It's been going since July 1st, and little progress has been made, so yeah. :P

Okay, to start it off, today (Saturday, October 8th) marks the 100th day of the NFL lockout.

Great... I hope they get things ordered out soon, I wanna see my Heatles win the Finals baby! LBJ, D-Wade, CB1. We gonna win it all, The Mavs got nothing on us, it was just a lucky fluke!

Hahahahahahahahaha. You don't win a championship by a fluke. The Mavs have got more talent than the heat, face it. 3 players can't win you a championship. Game 6, our best player didn't show up and we still won. The Heat can't say that when LBJ didn't show up.

Hey Apeman, you're not a Mavs fan, remember?

Also, unfortunately for you, the Mavs won't be having more talent in the next couple years, they're getting old. Miami Heat is a pretty young team. If they are able to keep the group together, they will eventually win a title.

Sadly, the first two weeks of the regular season were cancelled. This is really bad especially for people where I live we live Blazers here I hope no more of the season is gone. Otherwise, I"m going to have to root for the Oregon Ducks in college basketball which isn't very fun.

CMT I laughed cause you are also a Heat fan. Apeman, Tons of teams win championships on flukes, how many times do teams blow 15 point leads in the 4th? The Mavs have who? Dirk he's getting old, this is the Heat.

LBJ 26, D-Wade 29, CB127

I won't mention Chalmbers or Pittman. We are loaded man, just wait.

The Heat aren't loaded. Not nearly as stacked as the 08-10 Lakers or the 08-10 Boston Celtics. They have the best player in the world and probably the best shooting guard in the NBA. Chris Bosh is too inconsistent to be considered a threat. Everyone else on that team? Comeon man. The front court is mediocre, far worse than other teams anyway.

I wouldn't count on a championship.

Name me 1 team that could beat them? Celtics = Old, worn down. Lakers = No one besides Kobe.
Give me a team?

How about the Bulls? They're young and improving and have, in my opinion, the best player in the league in Derrick Rose.

Also, I'm no Lakers fan, but they have more than just Kobe. e.g. Odom, Gasol.

By the way, please never use the term "Heatles" again....thanks. :P

Yeah Blazers! I'm really interested how the Grizzlies will do this year, considering their best player Rudy Gay was not even playing during their great playoff run.

Lamar Odom isn't too good. Pau Gasol is good, but he isn't the guy who will lead the Lakers to a championship, which is what he'll have to do as you know, Kobe Bryant is getting older and older everyday. The Bulls are fantastic, they're the only team I think would be able to defeat the Heat in the next few years. Also, maybe Oklahoma. They're pretty young as well, but they seem to fail in the playoffs early on. I expect Kevin Durant to lead them to at least one NBA Finals though. I would say the Mavericks, but they're just simply getting old. I think they will slowly fall out of the picture when you think of the top NBA teams, especially if we don't have a 2011-12 season.

This is disappointing. I hope we don't lose the whole season like predicted. I need the NBA in my life!
