Movies Based on Books

Hi guys, there are a million movies out there that are based on books. What are your opinions on books being made into movies? Do you like them or not like them? What are some of your favorite movies that are based on books?

Personally I love watching movies based on books that I have read. I love pointing out key differences between the two. Some of my favorite book based movies are Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and of course; Twilight.

Some movies based on books are OK, but I've seen more than my fair share of movies that don't even go slightly along with the book. Probably one of my favorites is Harry Potter. Although in some cases the books are better than the movies.

I love movies like these because it's always interesting to see it played out on the screen VS what happened in your head. I absolutely enjoyed The Hunger Games. I also really loved The Hobbit movies.
