MLB Playoffs

I watching the last three innings of that game last night. I was so happy. If the Rays can't make it past the ALDS, no AL East team can, I didn't want to watch the Yankees go farther than the Rays in the playoffs. It scared me when Derek Jeter almost hit that home run in the bottom of the 8th with two outs and a runner on. The Tigers were then only up 3-2, so that would have made it 3-4, and then the Yankees would have had Mariano Rivera close out the game with ease. Luckily, the hit was just short, so close though. :P

It shocked me though, Derek Jeter doesn't get hits like that too often, and he almost got it done that time.

What a GREAT game, series, and total season. This year has been quite amazing.

The real greatness started in game 162 where two teams made the playoffs after being 9 and 8.5 games out with a month left in the season. Then came the Rangers winning their series in 4 games, A-rod becoming the only player in the history of the MLB to strike out to end his team's season two years in a row, the Brewers winning on a walk off single, and the brilliant pitching of the Cards to advance them over the power house Phillies.

I got one thing to say....TAKE THAT CLIFF LEE

Rangers play the Tigers. And Cardinals play the Brewers. Both are going to be good series. I think each series will go to at least game 6.

First walk-off grand slam in postseason history. It's funny, I was reading a bunch of MLB records and milestones on Wikipedia a couple weeks ago, and one of the things that came up was that no one has ever hit a walk-off grand slam in postseason history. Well, that has now changed.

Wow that's awesome! Probably the best game of the entire season to be at (So far). And I was gonna say, you probably have a lot more to say than just "I was at the game"

It was the best game i have ever been at. My second best game so far has been the second game of the ALDS were the crowd started the NA-Po-LI chant.

It was actually the second time I have seen a walk off grand slam. I think it was 4 years ago the Rangers were losing to the Yankees by 2 i believe and Marlyn Byrd hit a walk off grand slam. That used to be my best game because beating the Yanks used to be the best thing the Rangers could do.

Now everything has changed. The last two years have been AMAZING.

The crowd yesterday was so loud. In the ninth they stood the whole time and then they also stood through the tenth. In fact they were pretty much standing through the last 3 innings. They got mad which is understandable when Moreland hit into the double play in the ninth but after that they were great.

After the game people stood there for almost 10 minutes yelling CRUUUUUUUUUZZZ. All the way back to the car people were chanting and Cruzing

It was quite an amazing place to be.
