Michael Young: What the heck?

I just saw http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2011/02/michael-young-wants-out-of-texas.html]this[/url] and they are reporting that Michael Young wants out. I can't believe it. If the Rangers trade him IMO they just wasted everything they have done this off season. They will have lost pitching, added a third baseman, and given away the face of the franchise. They wont get anything for him and they will have to eat most of his contract. If this goes down i will probably cry.

How long has Michael Young been with the Rangers? I am not sure if I can picture him not being a Ranger. Hopefully he will stick with the Rangers.

10 years now. He has been their face through thick and thin. He was never the best player on the team but he was always the best team player...
