Texas Ranger DH Michael Young is fed up with the team. He says, "I've kept a low profile out of respect for the team, the coaching staff, my family and the fans because I didn't want to put anybody on an unnecessary roller-coaster. Now, I think it's important to address the inaccurate portrayal that is being painted. The suggestion that I've simply had a change of heart and asked for a trade is a manipulation of the truth." He goes on to attack the Rangers, "I want to be traded because I've been misled and manipulated and I'm sick of it." When asked about how he had been mislead he wouldn't answer but did take a shot at the Rangers GM John Daniels, "I know the truth and Jon Daniels knows the truth and I will sleep well."
I am on Micheal's side in this. Why aren't the Rangers telling Michael what is going on? How hard is it to figure out that Michael would only take it for so long. No matter how much you are payed you still don't like getting pushed around.
At this point i believe the Rangers need to somehow makeup with Young. With what he has said there is no way they can get anything for Michael until at least the trade deadline.
