Almost 20 years have passed since June 20, 2006, when the Miami Heat won their first NBA championship, having won four straight games after losing the first two in the series. “We hurt in 2006 after it was stolen from us, right?," Cuban said on the DLLS MAVS podcast. In 2016, Cuban said the 2006 Finals "will go down in history as the worst officiated Finals in the history of the game." The main reason why Cuban has been so flustered ever since is Dwyane Wade, who averaged 39 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and a block and converted on 50 percent of his shots in the four consecutive wins to secure the championship.
