Wisconsin beat Vanderbilt 60-57 yesterday. I was really mad. The referees gave the game to Wisconsin. Vanderbilt had five offensive fouls called on them in the first half for crying out loud. Their starting point guard got his 4th foul at least ten minutes left in the game, with all the fouls being offensive fouls. Just a load of horrible calls when it comes to charges. Tinsley would run at an angle avoiding the guy guarding him, then the guy guarding him would stick out his shoulder and their shoulders would just barely clip and the guy didn't set up for a charge, he didn't fall over, or anything... Yet they called a charge. I was on the road all day yesterday, so I only got to listen to it on the radio, but I was able to watch a rerun of it last night. Ridiculous. It's a shame though, Vanderbilt was down by two with five seconds left, John Jenkins, the three point specialist, who has made hundreds and hundreds of three pointers at Vanderbilt, attempted a three pointer for the lead and he bricked it. The kind of shot he took is his favorite, he literally makes that kind of three pointer 90% of the time, the 10% just had to really show itself today. We should have gotten the offensive rebound though, but a Wisconsin player just shoved the dude right out of the way, yet they didn't call a foul.
