SPOILER: Click to showOk, so basically, my friend stayed home from school and played mass effect 3 all day ( It is not really suprising, he camped out at midnight with his dad and got the iphone 4s) Ok, so basically, after the credits they show the grandpa telling the story to his grandson. He says all the details have been lost to time. This can mean 3 things.
1) The whole thing was a story, and made up. It never happened.
2) The story was way in the future after the events of mass effect 3
