Lockout Looms With No CBA

Yeah, tickets for an NHL game up here are upwards of 200$. The ones that I got for the WHL championships were 30$, and we were in row 3. :P

Oh god.

I'm already suffering from NHL withdrawal and it's only the offseason. i've got a minor league team up the road from me, a junior team across town, and a college team across town so I think I'll be OK.

i think anything over 10years is a no go.

I always find lockouts to be silly. They're childish, if anything. Especially for the fact that they can last for an ENTIRE season. Come on guys, you're all millionaires anyway, let's get a little compromise. It just burns me up. :@

In Edmonton, we have the Oil Kings, a WHL team, and they're pretty good, but I don't go to games that often. The actually won the WHL championship this year and I went to game 7 of the finals with my friends, but other than that I've never been. i go since its usually cheaper than the NHL. i could get a student ticket to a redwings game for not a lot but my gas both ways plus parking doesn't make it that much cheaper.

They kill the local economy of the cities in which the teams are in. These teams bring in millions every year, so to lose that would kill any city.
