With their 6-1 win in game 6 the LA Kings have defeated the New Jersey Devils 4-2 to take their first Stanley Cup. They become the first 8 seed to win the Cup. Congrats to the Devils on a great season! Will this be it for Marty? More importantly congrats to the Kings on their first Stanley Cup! More to come later...

With that being said, Dustin Brown is the 2nd American-born captain to win the Stanley Cup, so that's a good achievement for the country as a whole.
