Did Sunday night confirm that the Charlotte Hornets got one of the best players in the draft?
Kon Knueppel was on a tear during the team’s Summer League showdown against the Sacramento Kings, knocking down 21 points as well as a deft three-pointer in the last minute of the championship game.
Following the team’s 83-78 win over the Kings, Knueppel was named Summer League MVP but gave all the praise to his fellow teammate.

Knueppel wasn’t the only Hornets star doing great things during the pivotal game, as five Charlotte players were in double digits.

The No. 4 pick in the draft has been the talk of the town during the Summer League, and Hornets fans couldn’t be more excited.
