He's the younger brother of the Staal's (Eric in Carolina, Jordan in Pittsburgh, and Marc in New York on the Rangers).
Based on his stats and draft position (2nd round, 49th overall) I don't think he's gonna be as good as older brother -and now teamate- Eric. Mabye Phoenix saw that too. They let him go for a 5th rounder (wth Oilers? This was still a steal that you should of taken!) But he will defidently improve with E. Staal helping him out.
