Recently, when I and my friends were eating in a restaurant, I noticed that instead of talking as we wait for our orders, most of us took out their gadgets and start browsing facebook and twitter. I didn't like the look of it because it feels like we're separated by this technology. Another was in the other restaurant too, they were a family of three. Both husband and wife were busy in their phones, while their child was busy looking for someone to talk to. The child was roaming around, and I feel anxious with that because he might be kidnapped. So I followed him and returned him to his parents.

Do you think technology is extremely changing the way we communicate/ interact with people?

Most are glued to their mobiles. I had a visitor the other day and she was more on her mobile than taking to me. I wish she did not visit me.

Before now, digital communication used to be completely text based. But as at now, technology has enabled people to communicate with video calls more. That means people don't have to depend on emails. It is a more immersive experience with video calls.

Yes, technology is changing the way we communicate..
Communication is no longer about voice-based exchanges; it has expanded to include virtual platforms, This transformation has made communication faster, more accessible.
