Yes, but it wasn't that advanced, either. Only until Wii Motion Plus came out did stuff actually feel real. But even that couldn't save Nintendo from the black pit of doom.

The 3DS seems to be better than I thought it would be, I'll give it that, but it still has the basic model design.

Oh yeah, for you PSP fans, rumor has it that developers have PSP2s in their hands and are examining its capabilities. One developer says that "[the] PSP2 looks like it’s a pretty powerful machine."

Well, yes. Thats true. Perhaps if they started coming up with newer ideas, they could come from the brink, but at this rate, theyll be gone in a few years.

i don't think nintendo is dying. i think its still a really good company. yes the PS3 and Xbox 360 are nice but the Wii is always my fav. gaming system.

They aren't dead I think that the Wii is amazing and the new 3ds that is coming out looks mind blowing and cant wait for it.

It bothers me you think a franchise like Pikmin is dead for not having a game in five years, think a bit about Metroid, it was asleep for quite some years before getting up and giving things to old and new fans alike.

Before trying teh PS3 I would cling into the wii being revolutionary idea and evil sony stole and blah blah, but thing is Sony is being smarter thaj Nintendo in terms on how to use things. Imagine the game possibility with anotehr wii mote instead of the nunchuck, it is areality on the PS3, the Camera move also is very interestingly placed, so people in the PS3 are also moving and jumping just like us, but also doing it in thriller games with impressive graphics AND story.

The wii is a good cosole, and I have fun with it, I like it. But it is not leading and that worries me. It is like with the visual boy, they have BRILLIANT ideas but they need more application ideas to really give more.

Right now I have hope in Skyward Sword, that new Zelda title in progress, I really want to feel a lot more interaction and novelty of ideas, but at the same time I am not making myself high hopes, at least not unrealistic ones.

Has anyone heard of the Nintendo 3DS? That's a few hundred pounds/dollars.
You change toggle the 3D effect.
That's 3D enough for me.
But yes, they are relying too much on Mario for original stuff.

Hopefully, it will be a good title. I'm sort of upset that the graphics were toned down though. It takes a little away from the exploration feeling in the other games.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the Wii.
If if were double the price, or near the price of the PS3, people would be convinced of how great it was, and say it was good.
I think price tags and 3D isn't everything. It's the ideas, quality, and comfort.

Meh, I think if they doubled the price, it would end up like the PS3 was when it first came out. Remember that unappealing price tag of $600?

I love nintendo, and yeah it has been surpassed with the new technology, but they do try to keep a lot of fresh things for people. Nintendo is more family focused than gamer focused I think. I think the Pokemon series is really a huge reason why Nintendo is still around.
