I hope he's done.
Also, I hope we find out if he's actually done within the next two months (if the lockout continues, we will have to wait even longer to make sure).
"It's great to have a person like that as my contact," Webb said.
OK, that's good Joe. Very true. Just stop there, right?
"He can still sling it."
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo.
The last thing this soon-to-be-post-lockout NFL needs is the notion that Favre could still play in the league. Those flames were fanned earlier this month when NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt said during a live chat, "I do think Favre would be interested in talking to a team about returning. But I don't see a team out there right now that would bring him back as a starter."
While we're still convinced Favre is done, history has shown us approximately 1,000 times that it's never a sure thing. Maybe Favre is trying to embrace the mentor role that never really stuck with him during his career? Couldn't you picture Favre and Webb on a high school practice field together, with Favre shouting at him:
"Joe! Completions are way more awesome when you force them through triple coverage!"

Favre is still a great QB. I think he can still play, but he shouldn't. He just needs to learn when to stop, and I pray to God that he's learned that by now.
He should've stopped before he even set foot on the field with Jets, no reason to not go out a Packer. He doesn't know when to stop, he's just tarnishing his legacy by continuing his bulls$!#@.

Agreed. He should have retired as a Packer, but I don't blame him for wanting to keep playing. It's obviously his dream, but he really needs to let it go.

He a Hall of Famer Great Quarterback. his time has come and gone.
I'm assuming yall heard about the eagles trying to sign him...He can't possibly comeback from what happend last season, he got injured everytime he got touched, why would the eagles want to sign that?

Just because he wants to come back? Its the retire and un-retire crap that makes me mad...he's done every year since he left the Packers. I hate players who do this, just give it up and move on. If he would've stayed with Pack, I think he'd be in the front office now. Oh well, enjoy retirement you indecisive moron.
I lost all respect after they made all that stuff to celebrate his career and then his sorry @$$ cameback as a Jet, you notice it wasn't a big deal when he retired after that each time. Just another time in what seemed like a never ending saga, HOF for sure, but always will have an asterisk in my eyes.
I Remeber the NFC Title game back in2008 between the Giants and Packers Great Game showed how much of a great quarterback he was. I So Pumped for NFL Season i hope the lockout ends soon.
Grand opening was pushed back once again, we'll just say it's TBA for now. We are still waiting on the completion of some custom development that has been in the works.
