One of the ways i quash a sugar craving is to add more protein to my meals to increase my feeling of fullness. I also take more water to stay hydrated.
I stop cravings by carrying fresh fruit, eating an apple or banana, drinking cold water, and keeping myself busy with a small workout. If I feel like having a cake, I grab some roasted peanuts and continue to maintain discipline without going back to sugary snacks.
If your plan is to not eat anything, drinking water is your best friend. Now, if you're still going to eat but want to avoid sweets, you have two options: either eat something naturally sweet like fruit, or start enjoying salty foods.
