The Habs traded F Sergie Kostitsyn yesterday to the Predators for G Dan Ellis, and F Dustin Boyd.

Ellis is a UFA tommorow, so the Habs need to sign him today or the 29 other teams can get him. And they still have to sign Price.
 
I'm surprised they got anything for him. He has talent, but a bad attitude. Looks like he was another Grabovski for the Habs.
 
Kostitsyn? Ya hes a drama queen. Cried because he was sent to the AHL.

The Habs didnt sign Ellis. Went for Auld. But got Boyd signed today.

Yup, Kostitsyn. At first, he refused to go to the AHL and contacted his agent for a trade, haha ... glad we're rid of him

Hopefully his brother, Andre, can now focus on his game and not be distracted by all his brother's antics.
 
I didnt know your a Habs fan. Are you from Montreal or Quebec?

I defidently think Andres will do better unless he and Sergie are really close... But I think he understands its a business.

Habs are the team I root for, but I follow all teams, prospects, etc. I'm a huge hockey fan :)

I'm from Montreal; born and raised.
