I'm sad to see him go. He was a great manager in Chicago and I will miss him. But it was time for a change, and this needed to be done for the Sox at this point.
I don't think he is that great of a manager. Overrated, and he did whatever he could to make the Chicago White Sox organization look bad with him showing off his colorful language and of course anger to the media.

He was a great manager. That was just the way Ozzie was. Everyone knew he was going to be like that. He was the face of the White Sox and actually made them known for something. He didn't make them look bad. No manager who takes a team to the World Series and wins a Coach of the Year award is overrated. And really he wasn't really know for being a winning coach, he was really known for his personalty. So it's not like anyone really knew how great of a coach he was. People forget he won manager of the year and a World Series title. People only remember him because of his personalty and how he acted in front of the media.
Grand opening was pushed back once again, we'll just say it's TBA for now. We are still waiting on the completion of some custom development that has been in the works.
