Heisman Winner Robert Griffin is going pro.

The Heisman Trophy winner's next task is to choose an agent and he is in the process of finalizing his choice of representatives, which could come as early as Tuesday night.

The deadline for underclassmen to formally petition for the NFL draft is Sunday.

Griffin is projected as a top-10 pick and several personnel officials believe he could go high as the first or second choice depending on his pre-draft workouts and evaluations.

I'm not so sure if he'll be successful in the NFL... but a 3rd-string QB in the NFL isn't a bad job. :P

Probably the better now then later, with him coming off the Heisman. The Heisman makes him so much more valuable. He's still the second best quarterback in the draft though. I think Andrew Luck is better anyways. Griffin could be an amazing quarterback if utilized correctly. He has been utilized correctly at Baylor, now he will need a savvy head coach to utilize him at the next level.

He has potential, but I agree with everything Cmt said.

If the team he ends up with doesn't use him right, we probably won't be seeing much of him. He'd probably make a good wildcat guy.

1) I never said that I don't think he'll be successful. I just have my doubts.
2) 3rd string QB was just a joke.

I'd ride the bench for what backups get paid...

He definitely has the skills. He's practically another Cam Newton joining the league. He would fit in well with the Vikings and Redskins I think.

he would look great in a niners uniform! you know what sucks! he won't be... it's likely he goes to the dreaded redskins.
