That's a good deal as long as it runs well. Getting a car painted is surely cheaper than looking for a spoiled, un-keyed version. A keyed car just has some battle scars.2787cmt said:Then my dad and I went and looked at a car... That's the other thing. I am now the owner of a 2006 Honda Civic. It's a great car with about 150,000 miles on it. We got an awesome deal because the car was keyed really bad a while back. The used car salesman had it for months and no one would buy it because of all of the scratches on it. Anyways, we got the car really cheap and I guess we are going to get it painted it soon.
Wow sounds like a great time.2091401 said:That's a good deal as long as it runs well. Getting a car painted is surely cheaper than looking for a spoiled, un-keyed version. So today my high school did some good ol' community service and spent the day cleaning up this place in northern Kentucky (only like 15 min away, mind you) that just finished having an Oktoberfest festival... for some reason in early September. We do it for the Mayfest as well, and it's a huge fundraiser for our school. Anyway, I hate it. Lots of mysterious trash that needs pitched, nasty bins that need stored, streets that need washed (with a fire hose, which loses it's appeal after a while). It smells like beer and feces and my hands came in contact with many a strange liquid.
But we got free pizza, so it was worth it.
Man, that makes my homework and classes seem really pleasant... Best of luck with that.wingnut said:a week into classes and i already feel screwed, over 100pages behind in reading for one of my classes. hw is piling up, not sure where to start up. one class is killing me, another is OK and the last one is on the back burner since im trying to make sense of math. gotta get it fixed before i end up in a huge hole too big to get out of.

Yeah I am, I'm glad I didn't take AP Chem that would have been one of the worst decisions I've ever made.Ozzie said:Any of you guys taking Physics in school this year?
