I figured I'd make a thread for all of the smaller, video game related news. Whatever doesn't deserve it's own thread can be posted here.

First off, Ubisoft released the first gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed 4 today. I think it looks pretty awesome. Here it is:

Also, I'm ridiculously excited for Bioshock Infinite. Check out the scores it's been getting - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/bioshock-infinite/critic-reviews">http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/biosh ... ic-reviews</a><!-- m -->

I could probably share some news from my gaming news and reviews site if that's okay with the admins?

That should be fine as long as it doesn't violate any rules.

You know, honest opinion. I am disappointed that they are making AC4 the year after AC3. I was expecting at least a buffer year with a little side-AC3 story. I was expecting an AC3 Naval Combat, but this is what we get instead. It still looks quite good, I just hoped that the production doesn't appear rushed.

Bioshock Infinite is so much fun. Played it at my friend's house a little bit yesterday. Awesome game.

I definitely agree. Assassin's Creed is becoming a money-making machine just like Call of Duty... but I still enjoy it anyway.

So Kojima Productions released the first official trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5, and it looks absolutely incredible. I don't think there are many Metal Gear Solid fans here, but I think these videos deserve a watch anyway. If for no other reason, at least to see the ridiculous graphics.

And keep in mind that this isn't next-gen... this is gonna be released on the PS3 and 360.

I have BioShock Infinite, and I plan to finish it soon. If it's okay with you guys, I might write a review for old time's sake.

That'd be great. It's such a good game.

I got it as well, along with a couple other games. I haven't played it yet but I'll probably start tomorrow.

That would be great if you made a review. :)

I like the look of the Assassins Creed 4 game i will deffinitly be getting it.I have all of the other Assassins Creed games and they have all been brilliant to play

So there have been a lot of rumors that the next Xbox will require an 'always-on' internet connection...

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/...ll-require-always-on-internet-connection.aspx">http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/arch ... ction.aspx</a><!-- m -->

We've seen how this requirement can lead to... less than satisfactory reception, and seems like it's ultimately doomed to fail. So I can't understand why it would even be considered, as restricting as it is. I hope, for the gamers' sake, that this isn't the case. Thoughts?

This is pretty crazy. It's probably the closest we are to virtual reality, and I want it. :P
