I said all of those combined. Yes, Japan beats us and Singapore too with technology, but we are close.
And yes, freedom. In what other countries can citizens openly criticize their political leaders as we do? My sister's friend from China is here and told us that in her country you would be arrested for saying anything negative about their leaders.
Also, our overall wealth, minus the fact that currently we are in debt, is very high. We live a life of luxury compared to virtually every other country.

I what other country that is considered a democracy have only two political parties? Also, we could march up to parliament hill and tell Harper he's a lieing cheating skank and nothing would happen to us.
Also, did you know that Texas gives more than 300 people a year capital punishment? I don't consider that very free.

And capital punishment isnt practiced in most states and in most cases it is deserved.

Yeah, we have capital punishment for those who murder multiple other people. I don't necessarily agree with it, but it's not like they're put to death over shoplifting.
Also, we could walk right up to the White House and say that Obama is an Islamic terrorist and we'd probably be arrested for trespassing, but we have 100% freedom of speech.
