With recent injuries to the face of players the debate has heated up, what do you think?

I am all for a mandate, it will save players vision which can go if hit by a puck in the eye. It is already mandated that all players at the college, junior, and youth levels wear them so the pros are the only level not to do it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they added them as optional and maybe create a new style.

I don't see why they have to wear a cage all the way growing up from Peewee to Junior, and as soon as they hit college/NHL they don't have to wear them anymore? You might as well leave them on! They're used to them by then!

I think it would be a good thing. So many injuries could be prevented with full face visors. An example would be Crosby, when he had to get oral surgery due to a puck hitting him in the face. If he had a full face visor, then that could have been prevented.

they are MANDATORY at the college level, at least in the USA they are.
