Francona to coach Cards?

The Cardinals had a meeting with former Red Sox manager Terry Francona on Tuesday in Cincinnati, reported a person familiar with the negotiations.

Interviews are planned today as well, believed to be with with third base coach Jose Oquendo and Hall of Famer Ryan Sandberg (who managed the Phillies Triple-A team last season).

Other interviews that have already taken place have been with Mike Matheny, Joe McEwing and Chris Maloney.

So, who do you think will be the Cardinal's manager next season?

If Terry Francona doesn't end up in Chicago and he is okay with moving to the National League, I expect him to be coaching the Cardinals next season.
