For me it is Neville Southall as he played for Everton but was voted for best goalkeeper back in the 80s

Probably the best consecutive saves I've ever seen.

As for my favorite goalkeeper, I'm not really sure.

Casillas of course! He is a very experienced goalkeeper. In my opinion, he is the best, because he is very capable, he has many fans and because he is the leader of Real Madrid. I have seen many videos about him and he is awesome!
 
I actually don't have a favourite goalkeeper as I don't follow a specific team, and just tend to watch a whole lot of teams in different leagues. For me it's not always the keeper's that pull off the best save, it's the one that pulls off the most unique save! After all, it is much more entertaining to watch that way! :)
 
Peter Shilton is my fav goal keeper although he's retired from the sport he has and always will be the best English Goalkeeper
 
I know it's been a while since someone posted in this thread, but the question is so good, and the answer is so obvious for me that I have to answer. My all time favorite goalkeeper is Tim Howard. I will never forget his performance this year in the World Cup setting the record for the most saves in a single game. 16 saves, holy crap. I am very surprised that the US did not win that game. A little disappointed as well.
 
Even though he's not as good as he used to be now, my all time favorite would always be Casillas. He was such a brick wall during his peak for both Real Madrid and Spain.
 
My Favorite Goal Keeper is Petr Cech !! He is like a wall . Nothing goes past him ! Plus He is the only reason Arsenal is Liked by people ( My Personal Opinion So dont Hate me ) . The HeadGuard he wears because of is accident of 2006 is really cool ! Name 1 Goal Keeper who survived a skull depression fracture !!!

So truth. This is why I admire him aswell. He is one goalkeeper worth looking up too.
 
Michel Preud'homme by any standards is my favourite goalkeeper but Cech is also very close. From active ones I'd go for Cech, Ochoa, Neuer, Navas, Kameni, Ruffier, Handanovic, Hart, Lloris... When you think about it this era right now is filled with good goalkeepers. Buffon of course, Perin,

But really Preud'homme made it look so easy on the pitch. Shots that others would deflect he would catch. Those reflexes, the courage, always on the right place...You had to work to score against this guy. He was like a cat.
