My fav players are:
1. Jordan Eberle - even though he isn't in the NHL yet
2. Ales Hemsky - the best player on the team
3. Nazem Kadri - fellow Lebanese-Canadian Muslim
4. Andrew Cogliano - super-fast, and we have the same bday
5. Rick Nash - whats not to like? He's one of the best power-forwards in the game
6. Martin Brodeur - Its obvious why. He's the BEST goalie ever!!
7. Steven Stamkos - wasn't a fan last season, but after putting up 51 goals he creeps in to number 7.
8. Ryan Whitney - my fav American player. He's made the Oilers so much better, especially Gilbert!
9. Linus Omark - yeah I know, he's not in the NHL yet either. But he will be soon.
10. Carey Price - say what you want about him, but he has been called the next Roy before his injury. I think he needs a change of scenery. I'd be ok with him in Edmonton.
Remember though, this will change closer to the 10-11 season.
Just as a bonus, my top 10 all-time players:
1. Grant Fuhr - one reason I play goalie today.
2. Mark Messier - 2nd best player to play in the NHL, and born in Edmonton.
3. Wayne Gretzky - No need to explain, right?
4. Jarri Kurri - another Oiler great.
5. Patrick Roy - 2nd best goalie ever. Another reason I play goalie.
6. Jaromir Jagr - great NHLer.
7. Teemu Selanne - was a star from day one.
8. Ryan Smyth - Captain Canada belongs on this list
9. Mario Lemeiux (sp) - He's who Crosby tries to be. Him and Jagr were a great duo.
10. Paul Coffey - one of the best offensive-defenseman to ever play the game.
