I have along with many Lions fans have said Ford should sell the team to someone who actually knows something about football. Somebody else who actually has roots in Detroit and experience owning teams in that market. The person I am thinking of is Mike Illitch who already own the Tigers, Redwings, and Little Ceasers pizza. Illitch Holdings should just buy the Piston and Lions so they own all of the sports teams in Detroit. They have been able to do a miracle with the Redwings, turning them from the "Deadwings" to the team that is in the hunt every year for it all. It won't happen over night with the Lions if he buys them, but trust me he could make them a legit contender after some time. The first thing that should be done if they buy them is fire all staff and rehire new people who are actually decent. Sorry for the long post, but that is my 2cents.
