24 hours after his arrest, the Miami Dolphins have cut veteran WR Chad Johnson.

Johnson was released from jail on Sunday after being charged with simple domestic battery. His wife, who he has been married to for a little over a month, accused him of head-butting her during an argument in front of their home.

I'm wouldn't be surprised if nobody else picks him up this season. He kind of has a history of being an idiot.
 
if he is picked up it won't be until after the season starts. he has been on the decline in recent years so it would take a desperate team to take him.
 
I think he'll probably get picked up eventually, as long as he's fine with a low salary.

I don't think he's totally to blame, though. His wife is a rich, female celebrity... and who else is less trustworthy. :P Not to mention, he's always been a pretty nice guy. I'd think it would take a lot to get him to snap.
 
Well he received a lot of attention for this arrest so it didn't really surprise me, but if T.O. and Randy Moss were both signed I'm sure Chad Johnson will eventually find another team.

Exactly. But it might take a while.
 
he will NOT play opening day. i wouldn't sign him just because of the drama.
 
His wife apparently filed for divorce... wow.

This has to be one of the worst weeks of his life.
 
This made Hard Knocks entertaining to see Chad Johnson's antics, but the ratings will probably go down now.
