Hello,

Do you think that gaming is causing more violence? More and more violent games are been sold now and some like grand theft auto really do advertise violence. Do you think gaming is killing? If you do can you think of a way to stop it? I myself play games like that but I do think that it does encourage violence to some people. They want to be like the game character so they start fighting and so on. One way to stop it a bit would be to make a violent game have a notice at the start telling them to leave the actions in the game, in the game and show what happens if they don't leave it in the game(prison). So what is your verdict?

Thanks.

Yeah, I hate violent games. It just encourages more and more idiots to go outside and murder someone. Another thing about games that I'd suggest is that you get caught, you go to a jail in the game.

There have been some people who do actually go out and start shooting from their car, like in GTA. I think a notice on the case would be a good idea.

No. I've been playing violent video games as long as I can remember and watching violent tv shows and movies too. I've never even had the slightest idea that the best revenge is to kill someone. I personally hate it when people say that video games and movies and TV shows ruin your life... they don't. I'm really, really smart for my age, but it's not knowledge as in I can do my math homework in 10 minutes cause I study it alot, in fact, I suck at math and it's very rare that I study. It's knowledge as in - I reasured my Mom about here retirement funds, I'm better than almost anyone my age at spelling, when they study and I don't, I have a much larger vocabulary than anyone in my class, I can think of something that most people my age couldn't a while before them, etc.
All of this knowledge, this knowledge that most people don't reach until after they're adults, this knowledge which is held by a 14 yr old, all comes from years and years of video games, movies, and TV shows. Also, I'm alot better at hand-to-hand fighting because I've watched played or played MGS, Uncharted, etc. alot of times and I use their fighting tactics.

Anyone who does that definitely has mental issues and I'm sure didn't receive those mental issues from video games.

The problem these days is kids 12 and under buying a game rated T for teen or M for mature. This is an error on the parents side because they have no sense one so ever that they buy these games for their kids and the kids learn TOO MUCH from the game. What if we now have kids that believe that if they got shot, they have 2 lives left??
Wow, you guys are making up the craziest scenarios that would never, ever happen in real life, and if they did, the person had to have serious mental issues. Also, you have to show identification at a store when you buy a M or T game. I started playing games when I was 5, I've never thought anything like that, in the like 9 years that I've been playing video games.
