The Los Angeles Dodgers filed for bankruptcy today in a Delaware court.

This is the latest of bad events for the Dodgers.

All of this started when Jamie McCourt divorced her then-husband and owner of the Dodgers, Frank McCourt.

Last week, Bud Selig announced that he wouldn't approve of a television deal with Fox Sports that was worth up to a reported $3 billion.

Things aren't looking good for the Dodgers, who start a series with the Twins tonight.
 
Dodgers owe a bunch of money still. They owe Manny Ramirez like 20 million dollars.
 
I don't see them being in good shape anytime soon with their amount they owe. The MLB may help slightly but I don't see them donating 20 million plus the rest to make them stable again.
