Do you listen to music while you study?

I do sometimes, but really it's just if I feel like it. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.

When I was a kid, I used to listen to songs and study.

But now as a grown up adult, I think music is a distraction while studying.

It depends for me. I'll usually listen to music when doing easier homework, but when studying or doing homework that takes a lot of focus, music tends to distract me.

It depends.

If I am doing work, then listening to music is a must.

However, if I am learning something, or doing any reading which requires a lot of concentration, then I cannot have anything in the background.

It has to be absolutely quiet so I can concentrate and learn what I have to learn.

I don't need to study anymore, but I don't enjoy listening to the music while I am doing my paperwork. When I used to be teenager, I really like it, but now and as growing up, I think that it is a bit annoying. You cannot concentrate on what you are doing, and the results are not good. Our goal is to do our work efficiently without making mistakes. Personally, I cannot succeed this with the music around me. :P

Sometimes when I was in school I played some music as I was studying or doing an assignment that didn't require much (if any) brain power. I stopped after a while though because it was distracting me too much (I am learning disabled).

I always listen to music but while I study I just cannot because I always really listen to music, not just somewhere in the back part of my brain. When I listen to music it is always very thoroughly because I like good melodies and even more I like good lyrics. I tried to study with music but I ended up going back to one track that I really liked and going through it's lyrics I realized I should make songs out of my study questions. :)
