The Field
NFL: 91m by 49m
CFL: 101m by 59

Team Size
NFL: 11 people on the field
CFL: 12 people on the field

The Ball
NFL: short circumference: 20 3/4 to 21 3/4 inches (527 to 540 mm), long circumference: 27 3/4 to 28 1/8 inches (705 to 724 mm).
CFL: short circumference: 20 7/8 to 21 1/8 inches (530 to 537 mm), long circumference: 27 3/4 to 28 1/4 inches (705 to 718 mm). CFL Also has two white stripes on the ball, unlike NFL balls.

Scrimmage
NFL: Center does not have to hut the ball between his legs. defencemen can be as close to the line of scrimmage as possible, as long as they don't go over.
CFL: Center must snap the ball through his legs. defencemen must line up one yard away, or an offside penalty is called.

What other way does an NFL center hut the ball? lol

And why does the CFL having stripes on their balls effect anything?

There's stripes on a lot of balls in stores......they stole it from Canada I guess... :P

Who are the former NFL players currently playing in the CFL?

Wow. I'm so hutting it over my shoulder next time I play football. American football, that is.......

I have no clue. But lots of CFL players have played in the NFL. Mike Labinjo is an example of this.

On defense, another safety, and on offense, usually another receiver.

He can hut it over his shoulder, lol.

It affects when they measure for first downs. If it's not to the white line, no first down.

Lol. I have a couple CFL balls.

Also, for Car:

Kerry, Joesph, and he plays for the saskatchewan roughriders
There are but a few players in the NFL who have played in the CFL, the most notable of which are Jeff Garcia who actually started his career in Canada before getting his chance with the 49ers and Ricky Williams who played for Toronto when he was suspended from the Dolphins in '06 I believe. There were plenty of players who were in both leagues pre 1970 but since the games have became more and more different and call for different skill sets and every year sees less players making the switch. Notable players to get thier big break in Canada before starring in the NFL are Doug Flutie (Flutie did play in the NFL before the CFL but without much success), Warren Moon, Joe Theisman, Rocket Ismail, Mervyn Fernandez and Harold Hasselbach (a DE who is the last player to win both a Grey Cup and a Super Bowl Championship). There have also been a handful of NFL stars who played in Canada after being out of the NFL including Andre Rison and Mark Gastineau.
Current Washington Redskins fullback Mike Sellers played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2002 and 2003 and the Edmonton Eskimos from 1995-1997.

Okay thanks Apeman, I also remember hearing a rumor that Pacman Jones was going to play in the CFL. That was when he wasn't playing for anyone in the NFL.

In September of 09 he was supposed to have signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but the Bombers pulled out their offer I believe.

I just Googled....he signed a 2 year contract with the Bengals last May and was the kick returner and backup cornerback, but then on October 26 he injured his neck and missed the rest of this season.

So there's your answer. ;D
