I vote Rose. Rose is maybe the most explosive player in the NBA. Already has an MVP. This is a good comparison though. Both players have NBA championship caliber teams, both great PGs, both coming off injuries next year.
 
I voted for Rose. If he can stay healthy, the Bulls would probably be one of the top 3 teams in the league.
 
Like every one of the voters thus far, I voted for Derrick Rose, only because of the way that the poll question was worded.  I do think Derrick Rose is a better player so far than Westbrook.  However, I do like Westbrook more.  The problem with Westbrook, in my opinion, is that when he's hot, he gets the job done.  However, if he makes a few mistakes, it seems like he is unable to recover and get his game back on track.  While that is a flaw, I think it also shows that he plays with a lot of heart and that this game really means something to him more than a paycheck.  Rose is an extreme talent though, but he will never be the legend that he could be if he continues to be plagued by all these injuries.  He has already spent a lot of time off the court since he's started his NBA career.
 
If he's healthy rose is superior as a knock down shooter, passer, and even just as explosive. The problem is that Westbrook seems to be able to stay on the court for a whole season so right now at this point I'd give the edge to Westbrook. Terrible game from him last night though.
