Chicago Bulls PG Derrick Rose was injured April 28th 2012 when he suffered a torn ACL. He has been rehabbing all season and still has not come back. He has been practicing with the team and their are videos of him dunking and jumping off his knee. When do you think Derrick Rose will come back? Is Derrick Rose even going to come back this year? How good will the Bulls be this season once he comes back?

I think he'll probably be back next year. That would be the safe thing to do anyway. I think the Bulls will be great when he comes back. Definitely one of the top 5 teams in the league, maybe top 3.

After what happened to Danny Granger last night in reinjuring his knee for coming back to early I'd expect Rose to return next season.

I don't think he should come back unless he, and his doctors, are absolutely confident that he is ready to.

Having said that, he's sits on IR on my fantasy team waiting to contribute...

I think it would be best for him to just go ahead and wait until next season. The Bulls need to play it safe here. If the torn ACL does plague his career more than it already has, the Bulls will be considered one of the best teams in the NBA for many years to come. So, it is best to be conservative and wait, in this case.

I agree with kobe in the interview earlier this morning. Doctors can only tell the physical part of the injury, but they don't know the emotional/mental part of it. He's still scared and the confidence is not quite there yet. So I agree that he should just wait for the next season. It will be a great loss to the league if he turns out to be like Brandon Roy.
