I don't see the problem in that?
Knowing your team sucks isn't a big deal. Not following your team when they suck, well that's a different story.
No reason to be optimistic when they haven't proven themselves. I'm not going to throw my hands in the air this early, no way.

I don't like to be mind f***ed, and that's what happened. Lions fan's thought this was the year. It definitely wasn't. And I can see us starting bad next year. We still have too many holes on offense to fill.

I probably go to more games than anyone here. Do any of you support your team the way I do?

You started by proclaiming that the Lions were gonna go undefeated, and having such high hopes for your team.
A mediocre 3/4 of a season later, you are saying that the Lions are terrible, and that "deep down" you knew this was gonna happen (completely contradicting your statements at the
beginning of the season).
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
