The Chicago Cubs have finally gotten rid of Carlos Zambrano, sending him to the Marlins for pitcher Chris Volstad.

Zambrano has a no-trade clause on his contract, but apparently, pitching for former manager Ozzie Guillen helped get the deal done.

All that I want to know is why the Cubs didn't do it sooner.
 
Yeah, Zambrano really acted in an unacceptable manner over the past few years.
This has been coming for a while.

Let's see if he has any emotional breakdowns for the Marlins, now.
 
Yeah no surprise here. Ozzie has wanted and been friends with Zambrano for a long time now. And the Cubs have been wanting to get rid of him for a few years. Good trade for the Cubs, and I guess we'll see how it turns out for the Marlins.

Ozzie managed him sometime earlier in his career...I'm not really sure for what team.
