What team do you think has the craziest fans?

For me taking the literal meaning of the word "crazy" meaning insane I would give it to the Montreal Canadiens fans. After Zdeno Chara's hit on Max Pacioretty Canadiens fans literally called 911 to have Chara arrested. The police got so many calls for this that they actually shut down the 911 service. Not to mention they were yelling "Boston sucks" because of the hit, but I can guarantee if it was the other way around things would be different. If Pacioretty had hit Chara and injured him they would have applauded the hit.

So who do you guys think have the craziest fans?
 
They wouldn't of applauded the hit if it was the other way around.... but I'm sure Bruins fans would be calling for Chara's head especially seeing as the NHL did nothing.

Just curious to where you read that Habs fans phoned 911, could you post a link to where you found out this?

It's hard to tell which fans are the craziest, because it could also be called passionate or loyal......
 
Yeah, I have to agree with Habs fans for sure. Burning Crosbys picture, anybody?
 
Hey, I hate Crosby as much as the next guy. (the only time I've liked him was his Golden Goal) but you have to admit, that burning his picture is slightly crazy. :P

So, first NASCAR, now you're gonna stop following NHL? XDIt's very possible. If I stop following the NHL it will be for much different reasons then why I stopped NASCAR.

Reasons I will stop following the NHL...
-inconsistency with discipline for hits
-the moron you call the commissioner
-keeping teams in markets that can't support them(Phoenix)
-the fact that sponsors are threatening to pull out over the BS
 
For craziest fans, well I've decided it's Coyotes fans. They have a pretty good team that's playoff bound, but they can't sell tickets, the team is - no should - be on it's way out of Glendale, and it's like the majority of the city except the mayor couldn't care less. Oh wait, that's right, they don't care.

Habs fans can get crazy too, but right now I'm saying Yotes "fans".

No i don't blame them, but it just adds further fuel to my fire that the BS has gone too far. IDFC about the BS suspensions they give (trash talking refs), but it would be nice to see some more often and consistently for the bad hits like the one that Chara did that could've easily killed the guy.
 
I agree with all the points except for the sponsor point. I can handle Air Canada wanting to pull out, in fact, good for them. Since the NHL and Bettman won't suspend players like Chara, and other head shotters, they should want to pull out. They're not only sick of the head shots, they're also sick of Bettman not doing anything.
 
I say the Canes :P

I was at a game back in December, and I turn to the side and there was almost a fight because someone walked in front of someone else during the game :P Security had to break it up.
 
I think the Red Wings do. (If I'm right on the name :P)
