College Bowl Discussion!

Hawkeys won 27-24!!!! Horrible decision by Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert led to a pick-six by Iowa CB Micah Hyde which turned out to be the game winner.
Iowa true freshman running back Marcus Coker won the MVP of the game with over 200 rushing yards and 2 TD's.

Funny how the MVP's name was Coke-r....... XD
 
I'm watching the Military Bowl. Maryland is beating East Carolina. I'm not really paying much attention.

I'm watching the Baylor/Illinois game.

Illinois is beating Baylor 16-0. This helps my case against Iowa being better than Texas alot...earlier this year Baylor beat Texas.
 
Wow...the Big Ten did awful today...went 0-5.
Wisconsin lost the Rose Bowl by two points and Michigan and Michigan State got absoulutely crushed in their games. Northwestern lost to Texas Tech by a TD. So far only Iowa and Illinois have won for the Big Ten.
Ohio State better win or the Big Ten is gonna get bad-mouthed a ton next year.

Illinois is beating Baylor 16-0. This helps my case against Iowa being better than Texas alot...earlier this year Baylor beat Texas.

Well the good thing that comes from most of them losing and Iowa winning is it'll help Iowa's recruiting.

Oklahoma beat UConn 48-20. What's weird is that the Sooners are ranked no. 7 in the country and they faced the un-ranked Huskies....I think if you're ranked in the top 10 you should at least play another ranked team....Missouri was ranked 12th and they faced un-ranked Iowa but I guess Iowa was a candidate for the Big Ten championship for a while plus Iowa has a huge fan base that is willing to travel pretty much anywhere in the country to see the Hawkeyes play...that's another perennial factor in Iowa's bowl game.

It's exciting watching the Bearcats go undefeated and winning the BCS National Championship... wait, that was just on NCAA 11.
 
Ohio State won the Sugar Bowl, defeating Arkansas, 31-26.

Terrelle Pryor took advantage of being able to play, he had 14 completions for 221 yards and 2 TDs. Rushing, he gained 115 yards on 15 carries.
