Chromebooks

Have you heard of the Google Laptops, known as Chromebooks?

Have you ever had one? They are quite cheap, but are they useful as laptops?

I haven't bought one yet, however I have read a great deal about them. Look wise they seem alright, but I'm not sure if they would meet my requirements in a laptop to use one long term. I'm a gamer, and I use my laptops to do just that. I have heard, that if you internship at Google, you get one for free

I have not read about them. I am satisfied with my desktop and I have been using it for years although I have replaced several parts.
