Chipper Jones, Atlanta Braves, has announced he will retire at seasons end. He will likely go down as one of the best catchers in MLB history.

Thoughts?

My favorite Brave. Gonna be sad to see him leave the game, but he's had a great career.

Hall of Famer for sure.

Wow, his career has gone by fast. He was one of my favorite Braves of all-time with Greg Maddux. He's a hall of famer for sure. Maybe a first ballot as well.

I'm going to miss him so much. When I was little and knew nothing about baseball, I remember going to my papa's (my grandfather on my Dad's side of the family) house over the weekend and watching the Braves games. I'd say all of my uncles are huge braves fans, so that's what was always on the television in the living room. When I first got into sports cards, Chipper Jones and Andruw Jones were literally the only baseball players I could name. Chipper Jones is the player that has represented the Braves the past twenty years. He has been the role model, to fans, teammates, etc. I have a Chipper Jones poster in my room. I've liked him since I was like five years old.
