Childhood obesity

Didn't we just have a thread on this?

I think that society is becoming unhealthier (processed food, more video games/technology, etc.).

Caused by our lack of exercise, poor diet and just lack of motivation in general. Not really a side to pick, just reasons why it occurs.

Most organic foods are disgusting. They're much healthier though, and not all of them taste bad.

Organic food tastes better than processed food (to me, at least).
And McDonalds is a main reason for childhood obesity. The only reason they can help out is by shutting down...but we all know that won't happen, because the greedy a******s at McDonalds only care about money...

I can't move the topics or I would, almost everybody the last few days posting these topics forgets. I don't question it b/c I figure they'll be moved eventually.

I think the FDA needs to continue to tighten restrictions on food, especially fast food.

Processed foods don't help either, look at the box of most frozen things. They are high in salt and other bad things. Fast food is only a small part of a big epidemic. The electronic age doesn't help either, some parents are too lazy to make their kids go do something as they sit and gain weight.

I think the general reason is because of lack of exercise.

McDonald's is trying to do something about it.....

They changed they're kids meal fries to a shorter length, and made the drink milk.

Way to go McDonald's. :P

I don't like the FDA...I read a book called "Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About. It changed my views on the whole topic of health.
