The Bell Centre has seen two games in this young NHL season, and both have ended with overtime wins for the Montreal Canadiens. Both games were tight. Both games required a late one-goal comeback on the Canadiens part, and both games required someone to step up and play hero. Both times, the hero for the Montreal Canadiens was Cole Caufield. We need to have a serious conversation about how…

Riding high on a four-game winning streak, the Montreal Canadiens were back in action at the Bell Centre on Saturday looking to extend their streak against the New York Rangers. They jumped out to an early two-goal lead, but fell victim to the trap of the worst lead in hockey, and ultimately lost by a score of 4-3. Reeling from the debacle that was their last game in Edmonton, the Montreal Canadiens travelled farther west to meet the Vancouver Canucks and try to get back in the win column. It wasn’t the prettiest at times, but they got the job done, and remain atop the Atlantic division as of this writing.
