Man I was hoping they would call themselves the New York Nets, but the Brooklyn Nets sounds cool. I can't wait to see their new uniforms and arena.
 
New York Nets sounds cooler.

I'm thinking we'll have to wait a while to see them, though, cause of the lockout.

Yeah, Stern needs to get this lockout ended or be fired he's had two lockouts both while he was commissioner.
 
I was hoping they'd be New York as well. :P then there'd be:

New York Mets
New York Jets
New York Nets

Yeah, but that would definitely show a lack of creativity by New York. Plus, it would make them look stupid. :P

I think Brooklyn Nets sounds awesome, way better than New Jersey Nets anyways.

Then they'd just need a New York Kets and New York Lets, and they'd have the whole New York (J-N)ets collection.
 
It finally happened. My dad works for the people that owns the Nets and like 6 years ago when they were about to move I got a keychain with the logo. So I hope the logo looks like the one I got.
