When i was growing up i had no choice but to watch football as it was on all the time. I grew up as Newcastle united fan and football was football.
Back in the days of Vinnie Jones and Razor Ruddock that was football. Players would run into each other head on and didn't care if they got hurt.
Nowadays Football in my opinion is a tart's game plain and simply. The players these days are more interested in getting stupid amounts of money then playing the actual game.
They roll round on the pitch crying if they back a flaming finger nail then spend 6 months in physio "Recovering"
