Briggs requests trade

Bear's LB Lance Briggs has requested to seek a trade after not receiving a new contract from the Bears.

Briggs has 3 years left on his 6 year contract, and apparently he didn't want to wait until the end of next season to get an extension.

Thoughts?

The Bears have no reason to give him a new contract, and they have no reason to trade him, unless he's hurting the team or something. The Bears shouldn't trade him.

I don't think he will go anywhere. He loves Chicago, and is making enough money already.
