Lightning Evening News: St. Louis Blues pay tribute to rock legend

Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary British rocker, passed away at the age of 76 on Tuesday. Best known for fronting Black Sabbath, Osbourne was also introduced to a new generation of fans through the MTV show, The Osbournes, which followed the War Pigs singer and his family for four seasons. While he might be known as one of the more famous Aston Villa fans, thanks to Ozzy being Ozzy, he has a tie to the NHL, more specifically, the St. Louis Blues. In 2019, Osbourne posted a photo of himself wearing a Blues jersey prior to their Game 7 victory.

Matthew Tkachuk brings the Stanley Cup back to St. Louis: 'It's what it's all about'

Matthew Tkachuk has some new jewelry since the last time he took the Stanley Cup to the St. Louis Children's Hospital. On his right hand, he wore the championship ring earned by winning the 2024 Stanley Cup. “I got this one last year,” Tkachuk said, then looked at the wedding ring on his left hand, “and I got this one on Saturday.” It's been quite a week for the St. Louis native and current Panthers forward.
