Blazers Sign Mo Williams

Mo Williams is a pretty good player, so I think this is a good signing as well. I am not sure if it makes that much of a difference though. I still don't see the Blazers making the playoffs though. The Western Conference had the Thunder, Spurs, Nuggets, Clippers, Grizzlies, Rockets, Lakers, Warriors as their eight playoff teams last year. Do you think the Blazers will be better than any of these teams next season? One could argue that the Lakers are going to suck next season and miss the playoffs. Maybe the success the Nuggets had last season was a fluke. Even if that is the case, you still have the Jazz and the Mavericks knocking on the door as well.

Yes I still feel they can make it. They had arguably the best starting lineup in the NBA last season with the highest scoring average of any team for their starters. Now, that they have upgraded their bench tremendously and replaced J.J. Hickson who was really a power forward with a true center in Robin Lopez I feel that they can make it in. The only question is whether LaMarcus will be traded and how much front court depth the Blazers will have with only Lopez and Leonard at center.
