Beyonce Knowles Superbowl performance?

OK, I didn't know where this would fit the best, and I apologize if this was in the wrong section and admins can feel free to move it if need be. I've been an off and on Destiney's Child fan for as long as I can remember, at least since 2001, and up until this past February I've always liked hearing Beyonce Knowles sing. Not this time. It was Black Lives Matter all over again and I was not impressed with her halftime performance at all. As I've said on a nother site, I will gladly listen to Beyonce in the form of Destiney's Child, but I refuse to listen to her as a solo artist. What did you guys think of her halftime performance?
 
I honestly had mixed reviews. Part of me was shocked, and another part enjoyed it. I will confess that I did have to reach out to a few friends who are diehard fans of hers and have them explain what happened or what she was attempting to symbolize in the performance. After their explanations it did sound reasonable. I think what bothers most (and myself initially) was how politically charged it was. It also was targeted to a specific demographic... one we may not be used to always seeing so upfront - addressing issues that are real to them. What do you think of her new release Lemonade? I have yet to watch it.

Actually I don't have any of her solo albums and after that *lovely" performance I would think twice before even THINKING of laying hands on any solo record she comes out with. One of the few things I liked about her performance is that she still has a great voice and she can still dance pretty good but that's about all I liked about her performance.
