Which is the best video game? Which video games do you prefer? War? Social? Why?

My favorite video game is Grand The Auto IV . I like it because I can drive cars, kill people ( :P ), visit other people and go to bars. Like the real life. Except killing :P
 
My favorite video game is Metal Gear Solid 3, followed by Metal Gear Solid 4, followed by Fallout 3, followed by Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

But in a more general look, my favorite series' are: Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, Fallout, and The Elder Scrolls. In that order.
 
I don't think anyone can answer this question. The "best" game is subjective to the user. I have my favorites but they vary by genre. This year though? Hands down, the best game of 2013 goes to The Last of Us. There is absolutely, no contest. Nothing released earlier this year or anything released later this year will be able to hold a candle to this game. Except maybe GTA 5 but I have a strong feeling GTA 5 will just fall short of what TLoU is. :)
 
The first time I played Bioshock, I've never felt that way about any other game I've played. The game I've put the most time into is probably Skyrim, but I wouldn't say it's the best. If you would have asked me this question 5 or so years ago I would have told you Star Wars Battlefront was the best game ever. Still love that game, but I wouldn't call it the best either. Hard to pick a personal best game.

I think GTA IV was a really great game, it is one of my all time favorite games.

I am also starting to like GTA V.
